The compost site is located at 379 St. Andrew Street.
Update August 15, 2019: Effective immediately the access gate to enter the compost site is now at the corner of LPG Terminal and St. Andrew Street. The road closure has been moved further East on St. Andrew Street to accommodate construction activities. Compost Site signage is also in place. Access is still via Scott Road.
2019 Hours of Operation
Monday through Saturday, April 1st to December 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compost site gates are locked at 5:00 p.m.
The Compost Site is closed holidays.

Debit and Credit cards will be the only form of payment at the Compost Site (Cash not accepted)
The loader is available to load vehicles from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, except between 12pm and 1pm or when offsite due to mechanical failure.
Compost can be dropped off at no charge for leaves, grass, and garden waste. There is a fee for brush drop off. Brush includes tree branches, hedges, shrubs, rose bushes, logs, and stumps. There is no limit on the diameter of the material dropped off at the compost site. If brush is set out at the curb for collection, then branches cannot exceed 4 inches in diameter and be no longer than 4 feet in length.
Compost must be in paper bags, or open containers marked on two sides with an ‘X’, no heavier than 48 pounds. Brush must be tied with recyclable materials, such as jute or twine, no longer than 4 feet or in open containers marked on two sides with an ‘X’ (tape NOT accepted). The maximum number of bundles is 10.

Compost and brush in plastic bags will not be collected.
