The City of Sarnia is now accepting nominations for the 2019 Go Green Awards. The purpose of the awards program is to promote environmental stewardship in the City and to recognize the successes of individuals and groups that make a positive contribution to improve the environment in the City.
Nominations will be accepted in the following six categories: small business, medium business, eco-warrior, community stewardship, greenest classroom, and youth or youth group. Nomination forms may be submitted until Friday, April 12th, 2019 at 4:30 p.m.
Go Green Award winners will be announced in a media release on Earth Day (April 22nd). Awards will be formally presented to recipients by Sarnia City Council at the May 6, 2019 Regular Council meeting.
