The Howard Watson Nature Trail will be closed between Michigan Avenue and Highway 402 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019 and Friday, February 1, 2019 for tree trimming in preparation for hydro pole replacement the following week.
The pole replacement project along the Howard Watson Nature Trail from Michigan Ave. to Highway 402 is scheduled to start February 4, 2019 until February 15, 2019. Bluewater Power will be working on the closed trail to remove and replace the hydro poles. The trail will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily excluding the weekend. The trail will be open to the public after 3:30 p.m.
Bluewater Power expects there will be minimal environmental damage to the trail and will co-ordinate any restoration should it be necessary.
