For the first time in over 10 years, Sarnia Transit is implementing many route changes beginning Sunday, September 2nd, 2018.

As part of an ongoing effort to make public transit in the City of Sarnia more efficient, while servicing a larger area, transit staff and Transit Accessibility & Advisory Committee (TAAC) members worked with the public to identify the most effective bus routing.

In September, Sarnia residents will see the creation of 3 new routes: 5B – Rosedale, 6 – Mitton, and 8 – Sherwood Village. Improvements include increased bus frequency on several routes.

New routes do not affect Care-A-Van service. All conventional transit routes are accessible.

For additional information we encourage transit riders to visit our website www.sarnia.ca and download the Transit app from the App Store or Google Play.

Use the Transit app to track the location of your bus in real time, see departure times for nearby bus routes, and review various route options to reach your destination.  It can be used to remind you of when you need to leave to catch your bus, and while on the bus, notify you of when your stop is approaching.
