A total of 25,207 voters have voted in the 2018 municipal and school board election. This represents 48.9% of the approximate 51,581 eligible voters in Sarnia.  In 2014, 37.1% of eligible voters voted.

“I extend my thanks to all the election workers and staff for their dedicated efforts and excellent customer service during Sarnia’s first internet and telephone election,” says Dianne Gould-Brown, City Clerk and Chief Returning Officer.

The inaugural City Council meeting will occur December 3, 2018.
