Notice is hereby given that Sarnia City Council, at its regular meeting to be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 starting at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, will consider the adoption of a Capital Financing and Debt Management Policy, and an amended Procurement of Goods and Services Policy for the City of Sarnia.
The Capital Financing and Debt Management Policy establishes objectives, standards of care, authorized financing instruments, reporting requirements, and responsibilities for the prudent financing of the Municipality’s operating and infrastructure needs.
The updated Procurement of Goods and Services Policy adjusts procedures to streamline processes while adding consistency and improving staff efficiencies and the level of service the Purchasing team can provide to the organization.
